By Road-The Canterbury district has excellent road links with the M20 (M25/M26) and M2 motorways close by, providing easy links to London.

By Sea-The A2 and A260 connect Canterbury with the Channel port of Dover and the Eurotunnel car shuttle terminal in Cheriton.
Passengers disembarking from the Eurostar passenger train at Ashford International will find that Canterbury is just a 20-minute rail journey away.

By Air-Gatwick Airport is around 1 ¼ hour's drive from Canterbury and Heathrow is about 1¾ hours drive, as does the journey to Luton airport. Stansted and London City airports are both 1 ½ hours away.

Park and Ride-Motorists visiting Canterbury are encouraged to use the city's fast and efficient Park and Ride service. For just £2 per car, a driver and up to six passengers can park their car in a purpose built car park and board one of our smart kneeling low floor buses.
