Historic Shakespeare's England

Shakespeare’s England covers the areas of Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Kenilworth, Royal Leamington Spa and the surrounding towns and villages. Situated right in the heart of England, it is one of the country’s most historic and beautiful destinations. Home to the world famous playwright William Shakespeare, and some of the finest attractions and hotels that England has to offer, this makes the ideal destination for a relaxing break. Shakespeare’s England has much to offer families, couples and independent travellers.

Follow in the footsteps of Shakespeare

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust has transformed the site of New Place, Shakespeare’s family home in Stratford-upon-Avon for the last 19 years of his adult life, and created a new heritage landmark where visitors are able to discover Shakespeare at the height of his success. The exhibition throws light on Shakespeare the family man, homeowner and successful entrepreneur, with artefacts on display for the first time.
